Ladd McIntosh Big Band. The Ladd McIntosh Big Band plays many styles including Swing, Two-Beat, Latin, Funk, Rock, and Ballads. The library consists of numerous standards and original compositions all written by Ladd which gives the band a unique voice.

Ladd has composed or arranged the band’s entire library and conducts the band with expertise and enthusiasm resulting in outstanding performances. Throughout his career, Ladd has explored the many facets of big band arranging and composition.
24 de dic. de 2004 · McIntosh currently teaches at the Henry Mancini Institute in Los Angeles, and has published more than a hundred compositions for various ensembles. In his "spare time," Ladd writes and arranges for his standby big band, with whom he has recorded at least four albums since it was formed in 1980.
