Smokin' O.P.'s is the fifth studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Bob Seger, released in 1972 (see 1972 in music).It marked Seger's return to rock and roll, after the sonic departure of his previous album, Brand New Morning. The album was reissued on CD by Capitol Records in 2005. It is currently the earliest Bob Seger album available on CD.

Smokin' O.P's is an excellent album. Short but excellent. It's actually my first time listening to Bob Seger, and going through the album I couldn't help but love the immense amount of soul and feeling put into each piece. Though album is mostly covers, Bob Seger puts enough of himself into the song to essentially own it.
