Located in the heart of the theater district in Manhattan, Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) was created in 1990 to meet the needs of two groups of students – those demonstrating a strong talent and passion for the performing arts and those who were pursuing professional work in the arts.
The Professional Performing Arts School partners with outside organizations to provide instruction across all performing arts disciplines: DANCE • DRAMA • VOCAL • MUSICAL THEATER

M.A. Professional Acting. Masters of Fine Arts. The Professional Actor Training Program (PATP) prepares advanced students for careers as professional actors, with the expectation that students will take responsibility for the depth and development of their own artistic practices.
