Three drummers, Andy Hoyler, Bobby Andersen and Bruce Bisland (Weapon, Wildfire, Praying Mantis), provided short-term relief before Bodo Schopf (McAuley Schenker Group) took over. They recorded an album during this period, simply titled A.
While on their travels abroad Bruce played his first gig with his fatherʼs jazz band at an outdoor cinema in Nigeria aged 8. On returning to Scotland Bruce dabbled with drumming but never really got things going until he moved south to England where he formed a band on his first day at school.
Since 1992, Scott's version has included drummer Bruce Bisland, while lead vocalist Paul Manzi, bassist Lee Small, and keyboardist/guitarist Tom Cory joined in 2019.
Bodo felt his time with Sweet was always temporary so his replacement came in the shape of Bruce Bisland [ex Weapon, Wildfire and Statetrooper]. Andy had worked with Bruce on recording sessions as a producer and musician so knew he would be the right man for the job.

16 de mar. de 2021 · Original member guitarist Andy Scott and long serving drummer Bruce Bisland are joined by bassist/backing vocalist Lee Small (Phenomena, Shy, Lionsheart) and vocalist Paul Manzi (Cats In Space, Arena) and they certainly do justice to the songs keeping them alive for the current generation.
