Nicholas D'Virgilio (born November 12, 1968), often abbreviated and referred to as NDV, is an American drummer, singer and guitarist, best known as a member of the progressive rock band Spock's Beard.
With Spock’s BeardI made 10 studio records, the first six as drummer/background vocalist, and the next 4 as drummer/lead vocalist. I left Spock’s Beardin 2010 and joined the Cirque Du Soleilshow TOTEM, playing as drummer, singer, and bandleader for almost 5 years.

At 15, I joined my first band (I don’t remember the name) with long-time friend Stan Ausmus, playing parties and other functions. I was able to totally let loose with guys who were into the same kind of music–Rush, David Bowie, Genesis (of course), Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and so many others.
