Between the Earth and the Stars is the debut album of American country music singer Jeff Wood. It was released on February 11, 1997, through Imprint Records. The album includes the singles "You Just Get One", "Use Mine" and "You Call That a Mountain".
Vincent Grant Gill (born April 12, 1957) is an American country, bluegrass, and rock singer, songwriter, and musician. He began in a number of local bluegrass bands in the 1970s, and from 1978 to 1982, he achieved his first mainstream attention as lead singer of the soft rock band Pure Prairie League.

Many songs are pleasant enough sounding (the catchy "Long Way From OK," despite the country bumpkin in LA premise, and "You Just Get One," penned in part by Vince Gill), but if looking for something different, forget it. The subject matter - mainly about relationships - produces no surprises and at times proves overly maudlin.
His debut album, Between the Earth and the Stars, was released in 1997 on Imprint Records. This album produced three chart singles for Wood on the Hot Country Songs charts that year, including the No. 44-peaking "You Just Get One".
