Mimerose Pierre, más conocida como Mimerose P. «Manzè» Beaubrun (Juana Méndez, 13 de noviembre de 1956), es una antropóloga, músico y escritora haitiana. [1] Recibió un diploma en antropología social y cultural de la Universidad de Haití.
Mimerose P. "Manzè" Beaubrun (born November 13, 1956) is a Haitian musician and writer. Born Mimerose Pierre in Ouanaminthe, she received a diploma in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Université d'État d'Haiti. Beaubrun is one of the lead singers and a founding member of the rasin band Boukman Eksperyans.
History. Boukman Eksperyans was founded in 1978 [2] by Theodore Beaubrun Jr., nicknamed Lolo, Marjorie Beaubrun (Lolo's sister), Daniel Beaubrun, Mimerose Beaubrun (nicknamed Manze, Lolo's wife), and members of various other groups who launched the mizik rasin revolution in Haiti in the late 1970s.

Mimerose P. Beaubrun, Manzè de son nom d’artiste, est née à Ouanaminthe (Nord-est d’Haïti). Elle a fait des études Universitaires à Port Au Prince à la Faculté d’Ethnologie et obtient un diplôme en Anthropologie sociale et culturelle.

9 de ene. de 2017 · On July 29th, 2002, lead singers Theodore “Lolo” Beaubrun, Jr. and his wife, Mimerose “Manze” Pierre Beaubrun of Boukman Eksperyans were named official United Nations Ambassadors for Peace and Goodwill by the World Association of Former United Nations Interns and Fellows (WAFUNIF).
