Flamingods are a four-piece alternative rock band from London and Bahrain founded by Kamal Rasool in 2010. The band's other members are Karthik Poduval, Sam Rowe and Charles Prest (a fifth member, Craig Doporto, operated with the band from 2011-2016).

[EN] Flamingods is a five piece multi-instrumental experimental band originally started by Kamal Rasool in late 2009 as a bedroom project, now comprising of Kamal, Charles Prest, Sam Rowe, Karthik Poduval and Craig Doporto. Their sound has been described as ethnic pop, with elements of noise, tribal and freaked folk.

1 de may. de 2016 · During his London stay, Rasool began assembling school-friends from Bahrain, also studying in the UK – Charles Prest, Sam Rowe and Craig Doporto, and later recruiting British-Indian Karthik Poduval – who together began hosting trippy, hours-long, instrument-swapping psychedelic jams.
