   Spunk is a bootleg demo album by the English punk rock band the Sex Pistols. It was originally released in the United Kingdom during September or October 1977. The album comprises studio demos and talking recorded with Dave Goodman during 1976 and early 1977, while original bass player Glen Matlock was still a member of the band.

Comprising demos and studio chat recorded with Dave Goodman between ‘76 and early ‘77, most of the songs would be re-recorded and released on the group's official debut album, ‘Never Mind the Bollocks’. Needless to say Virgin execs were a little unhappy that the bootleg had beat the debut to the streets by only a matter of weeks. These early demos were the ones paraded round London’s record companies
