10 de nov. de 2013 · Paichai Hakdang School, a predecessor of Paichai High School, was a modern private school founded by the American missionary Henry G. Appenzeller in 1885. King Gojong presented the school with a hanging board bearing the school’s name, Paichai, meaning a “house for training useful talented people.”
배재고등학교. 좌표: 북위 37° 55′ 57″동경 127° 15′ 08″북위 37.93250° 동경 127.25222°. 배재고등학교 (培材高等學校)는 대한민국 서울특별시 강동구 고덕동에 있는 자율형 사립 고등학교 이다. 학교 연혁[편집] 1885년 8월 3일 : 미국 선교사 아펜젤러 목사가 본 학당을 설립. 1886년 6월 8일 : 고종 황제가 배재학당 설립을 재가, ‘배재학당 (培材學堂)’ 이라는 학교명을 하사함. 1887년 12월 1일 : 학교본당 신축낙성. 1909년 4월 23일 : 구한국 사립학교령에 의하여 배재고등학당의 설립인가를 받음.
