The Otto Falckenberg School is an academy for the performing arts which teaches acting and directing and is run by the Bavarian capital city of Munich. The school is closely linked to the Münchner Kammerspiele theatre on both artistic and administrative levels and is situated in the same building complex.
The Otto Falckenberg Schule – Fachakademie für darstellende Kunst der Landeshauptstadt München, or Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts, is a higher education academy in Munich training actors and directors, affiliated to the Münchner Kammerspiele.
The training at the Otto Falckenberg School instructs in and reflects on acting and production techniques, teaches solid craftsmanship and promotes in its students the development of an independent artistic personality whose ability to perform is shaped by the desire to deal with complex socio-political contexts.
Kurz vor Ende des Schuljahres bespielen die Studierenden der Fachbereiche Schauspiel und Regie der Otto Falckenberg Schule erneut fünf Tage lang den Werkraum der Münchner Kammerspiele! Zu sehen sind Szenen, Monologe und alles, was zwischen Theater, Performance, Gesang, Tanz oder Improvisation liegt.
Die Otto Falckenberg Schule ist eine Fachakademie für Darstellende Kunst der Landeshauptstadt München mit den Fachrichtungen Schauspiel und Regie. Künstlerisch und administrativ ist die Schule eng mit den Münchner Kammerspielen verbunden.
