Emil John Schmidt IV, known professionally as Acey Slade, is an American musician. He is the bassist and one of the guitarists in the nu metal / industrial band Dope and a former guitarist of the horror punk and glam metal act Murderdolls.

Emil John Schmidt IV conocido por su nombre artístico Acey Slade ( Pensilvania; 15 de diciembre de 1975), es un músico estadounidense. Es el bajista y guitarrista de la banda de metal alternativo Dope. Desde 2001 hasta 2004 fue el guitarrista de la banda de horror punk y hardcore punk Murderdolls.
Acey Slade is a rock musician who played in Dope, Murderdolls, Trashlight Vision, Dark Party and more. He also co-founded Catfight Coffee with his wife and tours with Misfits and Dope.
