In 1985 the band carried on as Alexander, Giguere, and Ramos recruited new members: Paul Beach (vocals, bass, who’d also played in the Happy Together Again show band), Bruce Pictor (vocals, drums, percussion) and Donni Gougeon (vocals, keyboards). Gougeon was briefly replaced in 1986 by Chris Urmston, but was back by the following year.
Gougeon, Donni. He is a singer/keyboard player who was born in Detroit, Michigan. He became a member of the group The Association in 1989 and stayed with them for 10 years before leaving in 1999. His brother is a musician that currently performs with Mitch Ryder and his mother is the president of the Bon Jovi fan club.

Por Pablo Millán. The Association se forman en 1965, en Los Angeles (California), despues de que el primer grupo de Folk Rock de Estados Unidos, The Men, compuesto por 11 miembros, se deshiciera, y 6 de estos miembros decidieran formar un nuevo grupo.
Durante la última parte de la gira, Mike Peed se unió a los teclados en lugar de Ulsky, pero se marchó en noviembre de 1984 y se lo pasó a Donni Gougeon (de la banda de Joshua Perahia ).
