Bob "Bullet" Bailey The Leaves were an American garage rock band formed in the San Fernando Valley, California, in 1964. [1] They are best known for their version of the song " Hey Joe ", which was a hit in 1966.

The group had formed in late 1969 and consisted of three singers, Wally Holmes, Bernard St. Clair Lee and Ann Kelly, and three musicians, Joey Rivera, Monti Lawston and Bob "Bullet" Bailey. Their style at that time, to say the least, was raw.
