Haven't We All? Review by Glenn Astarita. Recorded in September of 2000, master whistler, flutist, and composer Joel Brandon dedicates this release to the memory of his mother and late, great jazz drummer Billy Higgins, who performs here, yet sorrowfully passed away in 2001.

His flute artistry, however, is Brandon's real strength. Choosing flute for five of the eight tunes, he pays homage to classic modern jazz and the beautiful sounds that can ensue.
