Written by Exene Cervenka, the song is a deeply personal tribute to her sister, who tragically lost her life in a car accident caused by a drunk driver while she was on her way to one of X’s shows. In the 1986 documentary about the band, The Unheard Music, Exene painfully recounts the night she received the devastating news.
