The English curriculum at Coopers School is a high quality, creative and inspiring curriculum. English is the core skill to enable pupils to successfully succeed as they progress throughout their years in education and beyond.
Coopers School is a mixed secondary school with academy status in Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley, England. The current Head of School is Claire Bessa. The site is on land between Chislehurst Common and the National Trust's Hawkwood Estate, an area of working farmland and woodland, and is above the Chislehurst Caves.
The Coopers curriculum is inclusive and aims to ignite all students with a lifelong love of learning. Our curriculum is broad, knowledge rich and engaging, underpinned by a set of relevant skills to broaden students’ horizons and ensure the holistic development of all our young people.
Coop’s Nightmare is a riveting tribute band that pays homage to the legendary shock rock pioneer, Alice Cooper. With an electrifying stage presence and a commitment to authenticity, the band captures the essence of Alice Cooper's iconic performances, thrilling audiences with their high-energy renditions of classic hits and deep cuts.

The school is (since 2005) a non-selective school described by Ofsted as "an exceptional school of real excellence". The school excels at Performing Arts and Sports. In 2004 as part of the European Year of Education through Sport it won the award of "Europe's most sport minded school".
