With a background in television that dates back to starring in (incredibly bad) commercials as a child, MGL Executive Producer/Host Bill Hobson was ready to introduce a new chapter in MGL history – a weekly 30-minute TV program.
Bill Hobson is the executive producer and host of Michigan Golf Live, a show that features interviews, contests, reviews, and travel tips for golfers. He has been in the industry for 15 years and has a large audience across the state and on Fox Sports Detroit.

He created the FGN with the intent of it becoming one of the game's leading sources for conversation (FGN podcast) and information (reviews, blog, etc.)
Bill Hobson, 1940-2016. Inside this Issue. The former longtime Executive Director of DESC passed away on Friday March 4th. He was 76. Bill retired from DESC in June of 2015, having worked at the organization for 31 years, including 27 as the Executive Director.
