Williams is known for his membership in pianist Herbie Hancock's early 1970s group, as well as working with guitarist Larry Coryell, the Thelonious Monk repertory band Sphere and as the accompanist of choice for many singers, including Nancy Wilson.

  3. The Peacocks is an album by pianist Jimmy Rowles featuring saxophonist/album producer Stan Getz which was recorded in 1975 and released on the Columbia label in 1977. [1] [2] [3] The album was one of several released in the 1960s and 1970s where Rowles spelled his first name as "Jimmie".
