Pond's Theater is a 60-minute television anthology series sponsored by Pond's Creams that was produced by the J. Walter Thompson Agency on ABC-TV.
The Ohio Theatre is a performing arts center and former movie palace on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Known as the "Official Theatre of the State of Ohio", the 1928 building was saved from demolition in 1969 and was later completely restored.
Beginning January 13, 1955, "Pond's Theatre" replaced "Kraft Television Theatre" with one-hour live productions, ranging from comedy to drama, including originals written for television as well as adaptations of well-known literary works.
