God Lives Underwater was an American rock band, formed during 1993 in Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania by vocalist/programmer David Reilly and guitarist/programmer Jeff Turzo. They were later joined by guitarist Andrew McGee and drummer Adam Kary (who was replaced by Scott Garrett in 1998).

Adam Kury (born July 7, 1967) is an American bassist and vocalist. He is best known as the bassist for the American alternative rock band Candlebox. Based in Los Angeles, California, he has been the bassist for Candlebox since the band reunited in 2008.

They recorded a self-titled EP in 1995, then added guitarist Andrew McGee and drummer Adam Kary for live shows. God Lives Underwater's debut album, Empty, was released later that year, followed in 1998 by Life in the So-Called Space Age. ~ John Bush
