Von Oswald's latest collaboration is with Ordo Sakhna, an outfit dedicated to the roots music of Kyrgyzstan. In some ways, it puts Von Oswald closer to Ndagga Rhythm Force, bringing echo, delay and reverb to bear on a centuries-old musical culture.
Moritz von Oswald (born 1962) is a German record producer and percussionist from Hamburg and based in Berlin. He is a co-founder of the production duo and record label Basic Channel. He has collaborated with Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, and Nils Petter Molvær.
