Somewhere In Afrika is the eleventh studio album by the British progressive rock band Manfred Mann's Earth Band , recorded 1981-1982 and released October 1982 (Germany), 18 February 1983 (UK) and in the US on 14-Nov-1983. Bassist Matt Irving joined the band, replacing Pat King for this album.
