Robert John Henrit (born 2 May 1944) is an English drummer. He has been a notable member of several musical groups , including Buster Meikle & The Daybreakers, Unit 4 + 2 , the Roulettes , Argent and The Kinks .

He also played in a local band called "Hard Rain", a Bob Dylan inspired band he formed at the Royal Academy of Music. Hard Rain recorded a few songs on a reel of tape, that he never saw again after lending it to a member of the Kinks. Gosling could also play the bass and guitar.
