BJÖRN: Yes I started… It came quite naturally because everyone in the family played and sang and I grew up with that then. The interest was already there then. And then… Yes, I became interested and so and so I sat and played and learned a little more on the guitar.
Björn Thelin (born 27 June 1942, Stöde, Sweden - died 24 January 2017) was a Swedish bassist and a member of the instrumental group The Spotnicks formed in 1961.
The Spotnicks originated from a duo, "The Rebels" (1956), formed by Bo Starander (11 March 1942 – 3 May 2020; rhythm guitar, vocals), and Björn Thelin (27 June 1942 – 24 January 2017; bass guitar).
