London Voodoo is a 2004 British horror film written, produced, and directed by Robert Pratten; and starring Doug Cockle, and Sara Stewart. The film centers on an analyst who has relocated his family, only for his wife to become possessed by a dark spirit that wishes the family harm. Plot.
Severin returned to composing soundtracks, and in 2003 film director Robert Pratten approached Severin to compose the soundtrack for his first film, a British independent supernatural thriller called London Voodoo.
Other soundtracks have helped illustrate left-field supernatural fare onscreen in London Voodoo and Nature Morte. Severin has also worked with Edinburgh Festival Fringe favourite, Shakti. Even Severin’s name was taken from the Velvet Underground song, Venus In Furs, by way of Leopold von Sacher-Masoch’s erotic novel of the same name.
