Bleached is an American pop band consisting of sisters Jennifer and Jessica Clavin, formerly of Mika Miko. The band plays a style of rock, pop, rock and roll, and indie rock. Bleached was established in Los Angeles in 2011.

12 de mar. de 2012 · Jennifer Clavin and her younger sister Jessica grew up in Los Angeles and started making music together as Bleached last year after Jennifer disbanded her post-punk group Mika Miko and finished a year-long stint performing with Cold Cave. The duo writes sunny pop-punk songs with irresistible, shout-y ’60s harmonies.
A few weeks before its release, Jessica and Jennifer Clavin passed the phone between them for a half-and-half conversation about how Bleached fits into the past and present femme music scene, the peace-keeping powers of Playstation, writing romantic numbers in their parents’ desert home, and overcoming the terrors of honesty.
