22 de jun. de 2022 · Tommy Tausis 1946 – 2022. Tommy Tausis is no longer with us. It is very tragic when our idols disappear one by one. Tommy was a fantastic drummer who came to The Spotnicks during their Mexico tour in 1967 after Jimmie Nicol had left and he stayed until 1970 when the group disbanded for some years.
Nicol left in February 1967 and was replaced by Tommy Tausis (22 March 1946–30 March 2022). Thelin also left in 1967 and was replaced by Magnus Hellsberg (born 6 November 1944). Winsnes left in 1968 and organist Goran Samuelsson joined in 1969.

14 de may. de 2020 · Tommy Tausis. Tommy (trummor) kom till The Spotnicks 1967 från det svenska popbandet ”Tages”. Han stannade till 1970 men kom tillbaka senare under flera perioder från 1974 till 1978 och 1985 till 1986. Han deltog också vid några spelningar i Sverige och Tyskland 2000 och 2001.
On 13 January, Tages drummer Tommy Tausis received a phone call from the Spotnicks who were in the middle of a tour of Mexico and inquired if Tasusis was willing to replace drummer Jimmie Nicol, who left the Spotnicks.
