Vernon Reid (Londres, Reino Unido, 22 de agosto de 1958 - ) es un músico británico, guitarrista, conocido por ser fundador y líder de la banda Living Colour. Nació en Londres (Reino Unido), pero desde su niñez vivió en Brooklyn . Estudió guitarra con los jazzeros Rodney Jones y Ted Dunbar.

11 de feb. de 2007 · And speaking of Vernon Reid... the Sony label spent a lot of time, if not money, searching for the for next Living Colour, after that band's breakthrough. Along with Eye & I, Sony signed other great black bands like Bad Brains (Rise) and began to promote their existing stable of black 'rock' bands like Fishbone (In Your Face, Truth and Soul, The Reality of My Surroundings, etc.).
