Jaran has been the drummer for many churches throughout the Minnesota and the Minneapolis areas. He was the main drummer for Substance Church, one of the fastest growing churches in America, and was also the head drum technician. He was also the first-call drummer for the Fifth Service Band at Living Word Christian Center.
Products in use. Jaran Sorenson is the drummer for the multi-platinum country artist, BlackHawk, as well as the 70’s Southern Rock band, The Outlaws. Based in Nashville, he spends his time off-tour working as an independent session musician, producer, composer, and engineer. Originally from Minnesota, he relocated to Nashville in 2011.

Nashville ace Jaran Sorenson has been out on the road with The Outlaws & Blackhawk since this Summer, and it was great to hear he is using his 1.5 Steel--4 x 15 as a main. I met Jaran at a Blackhawk show this Summer here in Wisconsin, and had an absolute blast with him talking drums & music.
