  3. About Jeanne Sauvé. Jeanne Sauvé is a Junior Kindergarten – Grade 8 school, with 13 classrooms, including two full-day Kindergarten classrooms. The French Immersion program begins in Grade 1. We have a strong focus on faith and academic development in both English and French.

  5. 15 de ene. de 2008 · In Ottawa, Sauvé attended primary and high school at Collège Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire. She went on to study at the University of Ottawa , taking classes at night and working as a government translator by day to pay for her schooling.

  6. When Jeanne was six, she began to attend the Notre Dame du Rosaire Convent, a prominent religious school run by the Grey Nuns. For the next 12 years, she consistently impressed her teachers with her keen intelligence (she was always top of her class) and her unselfish willingness to help her fellow students.

  7. In 1942, she became National President of the Young Catholic Students Group. In 1950, she moved to Paris, where Ms. Sauvé was employed as the assistant to the director of the Youth Secretariat at UNESCO and, in 1951, she enrolled for one year at the Sorbonne, graduating with a degree in French civilization.
