  1. Joseph Cripps (10 March 1765 – 8 January 1847) was the member of parliament for the constituency of Cirencester for the parliaments of 1806 to 1812 and 1818 to 1841. Cripps was the son of Joseph Cripps, a cloth manufacturer in Cirencester, and his wife Hester (née Hall) Cripps.
