7月23日 、前述の公演の模様をライブ・アルバム『techno recital』としてリリースし、その際に新バンド「高橋幸宏&metafive」を名乗る。 「META」の由来は、変身を意味する メタモルフォーゼ と 細野晴臣 がかつて テクノ のことを指して使った メタポップ [3] という言葉である。
