Repeatedly named a top national college a nd a top performer for social mobility, Albright College, in Reading, Pa., was founded in 1856, and is home to engaging faculty who believe that the best academic moments are when students feel inspired and ready to take action.
What you’ll need to apply. Admission to Albright is on a rolling, non-binding basis. To be considered, you must submit your completed application along with your official high school transcript. Albright does not require standardized test scores for admission or scholarship consideration.
History. Albright College traces its founding to 1856 when Union Seminary opened. Present-day Albright was formed by the mergers of several institutions: Albright Collegiate Institute, Central Pennsylvania College, and Schuylkill College. Albright Collegiate Institute opened in 1895 and was renamed Albright College three years later.
