The Reverend Mark Birch has been a Minor Canon at Westminster Abbey since January 2015. As Precentor he is responsible to the Dean of Westminster for the daily worshipping life of the Abbey, and for designing and planning many of the special services which characterise its unique life.
Mark Birch studied at King's College, Cambridge before undertaking a PGCE. He has taught English across nine schools and has held the role of Head of English in seven of these. He is very tired.
