EKWC is an international artist-in-residence and research centre for ceramics. For over 50 years, artists, designers and architects from all over the world have worked here to experiment with clay. The experiments result in both special works of art and technical innovations.
EKWC offers studios, workplaces, living space, the most advanced equipment, and the support of its experienced staff. In 2024 a soundlab is available. Participants are visual artists, designers, and architects, and most of them have not worked with ceramics before.
