Anúna (stylized in all caps) is a vocal ensemble formed in Ireland in 1987 by Irish composer Michael McGlynn under the name An Uaithne. Taking the current name in 1991, [8] the group has recorded 18 albums and achieved a high level of international success, including a significant role in Riverdance from 1994 to 1996. [9]

Essential ANÚNA was released on Universal Classics in the UK and USA on Koch/E1 in 2003 resulting in a placing at number 6 in the U.K. Classical Charts. This compilation was followed by Christmas Songs in 2004 on Koch International.
