Miroslav Vitouš. Miroslav Ladislav Vitouš, nacido el 6 de diciembre de 1947) en Praga (República Checa), es un afamado bajista de jazz.. Biografía. Vitouš comenzó a estudiar el violín a la edad de seis años y el piano a los diez. A partir de los catorce años comenzaría a tocar el bajo, instrumento que le daría reconocimiento mundial en el mundo de la música de jazz.
Vitouš joined the ECM stable of performers in 1978 to play in a trio with guitarist Terje Rypdal and DeJohnette; he had most recently been with Arista Records. ECM, founded in 1969, was developing a reputation for supporting genre-fluid releases that often freely mixed jazz, classical, and world music influences.
Infinite Search is the debut album by Czech jazz bassist Miroslav Vitouš. It was released in 1970, on Embryo Records. The same album has been released under three different titles.
