Christopher Charles Stamey (born December 6, 1954) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. After a brief time playing with Alex Chilton , as well as Mitch Easter under the name Sneakers, Stamey formed The dB's with Peter Holsapple .

Bach's Bottom is the second solo album by American pop rock musician Alex Chilton, released in 1981. [2] . Bach's Bottom was recorded in September and October 1975 at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee . Production. The album was produced by Jon Tiven, who also played guitar in place of Chilton. [3] .
10 de ago. de 2015 · Chilton, a Memphis native, had moved to New York City. He was beginning to embark on a solo career that would include the strange initial forays of Bach’s Bottom and Like Flies on Sherbert, albums that mixed cover songs with bizarre experimental pop.

27 de may. de 2015 · Two recordings that were in fact released that Alex had recorded with Chris Stamey at Trod Nossel - the fantastically produced "The Summer Sun" b/w '"Where The Fun Is", released as a Chris Stamey single (produced by Alex, he also plays guitar, drums, percussion and shares vocal duties with Chris).
Bach’s Bottom. Genre: Rock. 1.5 out of 5. Requisite 80s cover: a drunken and horrible demo of “I’m So Tired”. Why is this here? And the actual version is awful as well. Jagger/Richards’ “Singer Not the Song”. A lazy version of a B-Side that Chilton could have had fun with but, instead…it’s a pale imitation. “Summertime Blues”. Why, Alex, why???
