4 de feb. de 2007 · Drummer Marshall Kilpatric, formerly of The Esoteric and Today Is The Day, has officially joined Black Light Burns. Kilpatric is replacing veterean session drummer Josh Freese, who recorded drum tracks for the upcoming record, titled \"Cruel Melody\", due sometime in May.
Sadness Will Prevail is a double album and the sixth studio album by Today Is the Day, released on September 3, 2002 through Relapse Records. At over two hours and twenty-five minutes in length, it is currently the longest album of the band's career as well as their most polarizing in terms of critical reception.

Marhsall Kilpatric is drummer in Today Is The Day. In 2003 he also spent some time drumming in Crisis, until he abruptly left the band and was replaced by Josh Florian. In 2004 Marshall Kilpatric showed up in The Esoteric, the Lawrence, KS-based outfit featuring Coalesce and Reggie and the Full Effect guitarist Cory White.
