Carlos Medina Plascencia ( León, Guanajuato; 14 de agosto de 1955) es un ingeniero químico, empresario y político mexicano. Se ha desempeñado como presidente municipal de León de 1988 a 1991, como gobernador interino de Guanajuato de 1991 a 1995, como diputado federal de 1997 a 2000 y como senador de la República de 2000 a 2006.
