Colonel By Secondary School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) to students in grades 11 and 12. The school also has a digital television station, CougarVision, that covers news, events, and activities at Colonel By and beyond.
Colonel By Secondary School is a high school in the Beacon Hill neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a non-semestered school, and was the only English public school in Ottawa that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme until Merivale High School began its IB programme in September 2019. Colonel By SS offers a full range of academic programs in a non-semestered format that include French Immersion and English pathways, a SHSM in Arts and Culture: Digital Media, and is the accredited OCDSB site for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program.
