Cimarron Manifesto is a 2007 album by red dirt singer-songwriter Jimmy LaFave. It is his second release for Red House Records. The album has been critically well received and has appeared at or near the top of many folk/Americana oriented music charts.

No one can argue that on his last three recordings, 2001’s Texoma, 2005’s Blue Nightfall, and here, on Cimarron Manifesto, Jimmy LaFave seems to be onto something. He’s been on as restless a journey as a songwriter can embark upon.
In 1996 LaFave received the Kerrville Folk Festival songwriter of the year award and appeared on the TV show Austin City Limits. He recorded 15 albums and his 2007 release, Cimarron Manifesto, reached the No. 1 mark on the Americana Music Association album chart.
