3 de abr. de 2023 · Remembering Kevin Mahogany. Updated: Aug 22, 2023. I met Kevin Mahogany sometime in the late seventies or early eighties; he was a doorman at Blayney's, a popular nightclub in Kansas City, where I played occasionally. He was a big man, I would guess 6'4" and at least 260 lbs.
Kevin Bryant Mahogany (July 30, 1958 – December 17, 2017) was an American jazz vocalist who became prominent in the 1990s. Particularly known for his scat singing, his singing style has been compared with those of Billy Eckstine, Joe Williams and Johnny Hartman.
