Academics At School. The academic program at St. Catherine High School places an emphasis on every aspect of our student’s growth and development.
School History. The St. Catherine High School started on September 6, 1948 in a classroom of the St. Catherine Elementary on White Church Street, in Spanish Town. The idea of establishing a Catholic High School in Spanish Town originated with the Reverend Father Matthew Ashe S.J. and Sister Mary Mercedes R.S.M.
