25 de jul. de 2022 · Paul ‘The Kid’ Size on guitar, he had this real angry Strat, Stevie Ray Vaughan kind of tone. He would do this thing where he’d play a blues lick at speed and then all of sudden quicken the pace before anyone could see it coming.
5 de nov. de 2016 · Messages. 1,093. Nov 5, 2016. #1. I've been chasing his tone heard on the Red Devils' 1992 live record "King King." I just can't seem to get close even with a bunch of pedals. He was a Strat guy playing through what I think was a 60s Super Reverb (that's what I use too). The tone is fat and overdriven, but it doesn't sound distorted and fuzzy.

Guitarist Paul "The Kid" Size quit the band to return to Texas and was replaced by Smokey Hormel, who had played earlier with the band. In September 1993, Rick Rubin brought the Red Devils back to the studio to record with music legend Johnny Cash.
