Tokyo Blade. In the picture from left to right: Andy Wrighton, John Wiggins, Steve Pierce, Alan Marsh, and Andy Boulton. After Andy Boulton left the 2008-2009 line-up, Bryan Holland briefly continued the 'American version' of Tokyo Blade until Boulton reformed the band.
This phase in Deep Machine history never left the rehearsal studios and finally ended when Andy Wrighton left to join Wiggins in Tokyo Blade. In 2009, Hooker, Wiggins, Marsden and Wrighton decided to play together for the first time in almost 30 years, together with Slam drummer Chas Towler.
