Bruce Lambourne Fowler (born July 10, 1947) [1] is an American trombonist and composer. He played trombone on many Frank Zappa records, as well as with Captain Beefheart and in the Fowler Brothers Band.

There´s nothing wrong with the material on "Cheap Thrills" though and if you want a short introduction to how some of Frank Zappa´s most accessible tracks sound this is a good place to start (just keep in mind that there´s much more to Zappa than the material on this compilation).
