Stimulated by his surroundings (West Cork mainly), Goulding channels landscape and its motif through colour. Retrospectively, one can observe that his works are comprised of long-running series over several years on one core theme.
Tim Goulding. Born in Dublin in 1945, Tim Goulding was educated at Winchester College. He was awarded a two-year scholarship to study Textile Design at the State School of Art in Stockholm. He is largely self-taught as a painter.
