Steve J. Morse (Hamilton, Ohio, 28 de julio de 1954) es un guitarrista estadounidense. En 1994 se unió a la legendaria banda británica de hard rock Deep Purple, en la cual asumió el papel de guitarrista principal hasta su salida en 2022. Antes de unirse a dicho grupo, estuvo en Dixie Dregs y también tuvo una notable carrera como solista.
Steve J. Morse (born July 28, 1954) is an American guitarist, best known as the founder of the Dixie Dregs and as the guitarist for Deep Purple from 1994 to 2022. Morse has also enjoyed a successful solo career and was a member of the group Kansas in the mid-1980s.

23 de jul. de 2022 · Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse has announced that he is stepping away from the band on a permanent basis. In April, Morse announced that he'd be going on hiatus from Deep Purple to look after his wife Janine, who is battling cancer, but would not be leaving the band.
